Thailand national basketball team
The Thailand men's national basketball team represents Thailand in international competitions. The governing body of the team is the Basketball Sport Association of Thailand (BSAT) ((タイ語:สมาคมบาสเกตบอลแห่งประเทศไทย)).〔(FIBA National Federations – Thailand ), fiba.com, accessed 22 December 2011.〕
Team Thailand's most noteworthy achievement was the silver medal at the 1966 Asian Games. They were also one of the few countries from Southeast Asia to ever qualify for the Men's Basketball Tournament at the Summer Olympics.
Besides its medal at the Asian Games, they had their best years in 1963 and 1964 when they finished in the top four of the Asian Basketball Championship.
The team won its most recent title in 2013 when it became champion at the 2013 Southeast Asian Championship.
